Open Use Content License (OUCL)

Updated November 2025

TaraNa360 uses the Open Use Content License (OUCL), a permissive content model that lets anyone copy, repost, rewrite, translate, or adapt our article content for personal or commercial use — without requiring attribution.

In simple terms:

  • Repost TaraNa360 articles on social media, blogs, or pages.
  • Edit, rewrite, summarize, or translate for your own audience.
  • Use the content in narrative videos, podcasts, or derivative works.
  • No attribution is required (though always appreciated).

However, you may not:

  • Impersonate TaraNa360 or the DigitalAssetsPH network.
  • Use our brands, logos, or system designs as if they are yours.
  • Resell or repackage access to our Engines, APIs, or internal systems.

Our content is open — our automation is not. Page owners may subscribe to our automated posting tools instead of manually copying and pasting.

The full legal text of the Open Use Content License (OUCL) v1.0 is provided below for developers, integrators, and legal review.

Last Updated: 2025-12-02

1. Purpose

The Open Use Content License (OUCL) is a permissive content license designed to make news, articles, and informational content easy to reuse, adapt, and redistribute, while protecting the identity, brand, and systems of the original publisher.

2. Definitions

“Publisher” means the individual(s) and/or organization(s) releasing content under this License.

“Licensed Content” means text-based articles, headlines, summaries, and other editorial content expressly released by the Publisher under this License.

“This License” or “OUCL” refers to the Open Use Content License v1.0, including any future minor revisions clearly derived from it.

“Systems” means the Publisher’s software, automation engines, APIs, internal tools, databases, and operational infrastructure.

3. Grant of Permission for Content

Subject to the terms below, the Publisher grants any person or entity a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to:

  a. Copy, repost, and redistribute Licensed Content in any medium or format;
  b. Edit, rewrite, summarize, translate, or adapt Licensed Content;
  c. Use Licensed Content for personal, educational, commercial, or promotional purposes;
  d. Combine Licensed Content with other materials to create derivative works, including but not limited to articles, videos, social posts, or presentations.

4. Attribution for Licensed Content

Attribution to the Publisher is appreciated but not required when reusing Licensed Content under this License.

Users of Licensed Content:

  • May reuse and adapt the content without naming the Publisher; and
  • Are encouraged, but not obligated, to include a link back to the original source.

5. Prohibited Uses

This License does not permit the following:

  a. Impersonation – You may not present yourself as the Publisher, nor falsely claim that you are part of the Publisher’s organization or brands.

  b. Brand Misuse – You may not use the Publisher’s name(s), logo(s), trademarks, or visual identity in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or official affiliation without prior written permission.

  c. System Access – This License does not grant any rights to the Publisher’s Systems, including automation engines, APIs, dashboards, internal tools, source code, database structures, or any non-public technical infrastructure.

  d. Resale of Access – You may not resell or package access to the Publisher’s Systems, feeds, APIs, or automation services as if they were your own product, unless a separate commercial agreement has been made with the Publisher.

  e. Unlawful Use – You may not use Licensed Content in a manner that is illegal, defamatory, or in violation of applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

6. No Exclusivity

This License is non-exclusive. The Publisher may license the same content under other terms or agreements, including private or paid contracts.

7. No Warranties

Licensed Content is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

The Publisher does not guarantee that Licensed Content will remain available online, nor that URLs or site structures will remain unchanged.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Publisher shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use the Licensed Content or this License.

9. Use of This License Text (OUCL Authorship & Attribution)

The text of the Open Use Content License (OUCL) itself is protected by copyright.

You may reuse, copy, or adapt this License text for your own projects or publications only if you provide clear attribution to the original authors and network as follows (or equivalent wording):

  “This license is based on the Open Use Content License (OUCL) v1.0 authored by
   ASPulido, ThanksDad & Angelo Domingo of the DigitalAssetsPH Network
   (digitalassetsph.com, layagph.com, tarana360.com).”

Attribution is required when adopting or modifying the OUCL license text.

Attribution is not required when reusing Licensed Content that is released under OUCL by the Publisher.

10. Governing Philosophy (Non-Legal)

The intent of OUCL is to empower creators, page owners, and developers by making content easy to reuse, while protecting the identity, brand, and systems of the Publisher. For strict legal interpretation in sensitive or regulated environments, consult a qualified legal professional.

11. Updates and Versions

The Publisher may publish new versions or minor revisions of OUCL from time to time. Where practical, such changes will be identified by version number (e.g., v1.1, v2.0). Unless otherwise stated, content previously released under OUCL v1.0 remains valid under the original terms.
